Finding medicines, supplies, and equipment for medical/dental work in developing countries is a challenge due to financial constraints. The table below contains contact information for a number of organizations that provide items for free or below market prices.
Should your company or organization have equipment and/or supplies that you wish to donate directly to our foundation, please contact us.
We are a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization, and your contributions would be greatly appreciated.
A future project entails creation of a depot of donated equipment and supplies for use in our ongoing projects and missions, as well as being available to other organizations. The goal is to create an organized inventory and reduce shipping costs.
Recently in cooperation with International Aid in Spring Lake, Michigan, needed equipment and supplies for cardiac services will be made available to qualified individuals, centers, and organizations involved in voluntary humanitarian cardiothoracic surgery programs or projects. A pilot model project was completed with the initial shipment of a 20 foot container to Viet Duc Hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam. Essential equipment and supplies to set up a third operating room and augment the ICU. The major steps involved in this process included procurement or donation of product, repair/refurbishment by biomedical staff, inventory, contact with donor and host programs, and final arrangements for delivery and arrival of shipment.
